Seems We have many candiates to choose from this time, and my guess as to "why" is because so many americans are disappointed in the president we have now. That being George W. Bush.
It seems like no matter who I talk to, or where I talk to them if the subject of Bush comes up you will get looks like people feel sick and are ready to puke at any moment.
Bush is (according to most americans) a failed president. He will leave his office much in the way Gorbachev left the soviet union. With high inflation, unemployment, and recession.
So with much background research on all candidates I would think that would be the way to choose our next president.
What do they stand for ? or what is their message? How long have they been in the postition they are in? What will they do for America if they are elected president? Is it important to you?
I think most important is WHAT HAVE THEY DONE SO FAR? Check their voting records. What is important to you as an american? Lower taxes? No taxes? The war in Iraq? Bringing our troops home? A good economy? Your liberties? Your rights? Should your candidate possess these qualities? Patriotism means you should question government and the things they do. That is where 109th congress went wrong and why the republican party lost the house, because they did not question Bush and watch what he was doing. I think this time The American People are going to pay much better attention to who they vote for. And please make sure you do go vote. It is one of your rights. Many people in other countries do not have this right and must bow to a dictator. We get to choose our leader. Lets do it wisely. Here is a look at the candidates:
